Museo de Navarra
Museo de Navarra (Calle Santo Domingo 47, Pamplona) – located within a one-time hospital (Hospital de Nuestra Señora De la Misericordia), it has 7,700 m2 of exhibitions and conference rooms. Some of its furniture from Navarra dates back to 1910. It also has an art gallery consisting of paintings, sculptures etc…which are chronologically presented over 4 floors dating from the Palaeolític period to the 20th century. Apart from some Roman artifacts and mosaics, the other highlight of the collection is an impressive portrait of the Marquis of San Adrián made by Francisco Goya.
Admission: €2 (general), €1 (students), free for seniors, children (under 18 years of age), the unemployed, and pilgrims. Hours: 9:30 am – 2:00 pm & 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm (Tuesday – Saturday), 11:00 am – 2:00 pm (Sunday and holidays). Closed on Mondays.
