Café Iruña (Plaza del Castillo 44, Pamplona) – located on the edge of Pamplona’s main square (Plaza del Castillo), this restaurant is a major tourist destination, because it’s been prominently-mentioned in Ernest Hemingway’s novel “The Sun Also Rises.” The restaurant, first opened in 1888, bears the Basque name of the town (Iruña) has been popular among revelers of the San Fermín events.
